VTF/S-SERIES FLUE TOP ATTACHMENT

As a result of field comments from various service departments, we have changed our method of flue collector attachment. It has been perceived that the attaching nuts are not easily accessible for servicing. After reviewing comments, revisions are being made as shown below.

The attaching bolts are now directly on top of the collector box for easy access. They are a 3/8" rib-neck carriage bolt which can easily be replaced in the event of breakage or damage to the threads. We will continue to use the stamped steel, Tinnerman type nut. The Tinnerman type nut is used to prevent the nut from seizing to the bolt.
